Reconstruction after trauma as well as cosmetic facial surgery. This includes rhinoplasty (cosmetic reconstruction of the nose,) otoplasty (correction of protruding ears), blepharoplasty (eyelids), face and brow lifts, scar revisions, and treatment of nasal and facial fractures.
All of our Otolaryngologists are trained in Facial Plastic Surgery. Our practice is focused on the head and neck, therefore we are naturally facial specialists with knowledge in the intricacies of facial anatomy, techniques of facial plastic surgery, and aesthetics of the face. We provide a wide variety of services in facial plastic surgery for reconstructive and cosmetic purposes.
SURGICAL
- Rhinoplasty – procedures that reconstruct or reshape the nose to improve breathing and/or appearance
- Nasal and facial fracture repair
- Blepharoplasty - improving sagging or hooding eyelid skin in order to restore a more youthful and refreshed appearance
- Face and brow lifts – (rhytidectomy) procedures to counteract the effects of aging by tightening skin and underlying tissues, improving jowls, loose skin and wrinkles
- Scar revisions
- Otoplasty - correction of protruding or prominent ears
- Facial implants
- Skin cancer – we perform skin cancer excisions in the office or hospital, or we will reconstruct facial skin defects created after Mohs excisions performed by our dermatology colleagues.
NON-SURGICAL
We are pleased to offer alternatives to surgical procedures to achieve a more youthful, rested appearance. These are performed in the office, and anesthesia is not necessary.
- BOTOX® Cosmetic - injected into a targeted facial muscle to intentionally produce temporary weakness of that muscle. It reduces facial lines and/or wrinkles caused by aging, heredity, gravity, sun damage, muscle action, smoking or other factors; or can be used to sculpt the face by altering the contraction of targeted muscles.
- Facial Fillers - injected into the skin to temporarily provide correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds or to augment/sculpt the face and lips.
- We are currently offering three different filler products, allowing us to tailor the procedure for the desired effect: Juvederm® Ultra XC, Juvederm® Ultra Plus XC, and Radiesse®.
